ML Halperin
Mitch is Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and Head of the Renal Division at St Michael's Hospital. He has focused his research and teaching efforts on the area of fluid, electrolyte and acidbase disorders for the past 20 years. He has published extensively and is the author of several books on the subject. Clinical Detective Stories and Fluid, Electrolyte and AcidBase Physiology - A Problem Based Approach are two of the most widely read and have become favourites of students, both young and old. Razeen is a Nephrologist from Stellenbosch University and Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. He spent a year with Mitch Halperin as an ISN-sponsored Fellow learning all about fluid, electrolyte and acidbase physiology. Razeen is also a certified web programmer (see www.krypton.co.za) and is responsible for developing and maintaining the site.
